Stay connected
Once paid and approved, the IMEI is whitelisted and your phone keeps working on all networks.
Good to know
60-day grace period
A device works for ~60 days on a Pakistani SIM before it must be registered, after which it is blocked.
Passport is cheaper
Registering within 60 days of arrival on a passport is usually cheaper than registering on CNIC.
Tax is per device
PTA registration tax is charged once per IMEI, not per SIM. Dual-SIM phones have two IMEIs.
Tax is set by FBR/PTA
Slabs are revised periodically with the federal budget; always confirm the current amount before paying.
Pay via PSID
You pay using a PSID through banks, ATMs, or wallets — never to an individual or unofficial agent.
